Final day of the Year, yes, a menaingful day for me, i go out with my friends, to go to Queensbay mall in Penang Island. There is an autography of a famous Hong Kong celebrity-Bosco! And the countdown that i cant miss it! ( Well it still my job to do the fetch, sad... But since Seng Wah willing to pay for the bridge toll, that make us even. Hahaha.......) Ahem, anyway, we reach there at 2pm like that, to avoid traffic jam on the bridge.
(And luckly, it didn't happen that day...)
Well since is quite early, we have our lunch then, at Sakae Sushi at 2nd floor. We just order some sushi to eat. (But the varities of sushi at there is so little! This should not be happening!). After that, Seng Wah split from the team, to queue for a place at the venue, where the autography took place. (This friend is so manic with Bosco lo.....) And it is time for shopping for 3 of us! (Forgot to mention, include me, only 4 person only....) We shop like KL fashion way, from shoes to hat, from Cheetah to Crocodile.......( And also meet with some friends!) Walking with 2 fashion sense friends, it start make me feel like my fashion look like 70s. ( Well, i AM come from 70s.... Hahaha....) And when the autography is start to took place, we rush to the queue. (Well it is not as crouded as I expected......)
But then, Ling Pei eye contact lense was keep her eye itchy. And she is quite suffer along the shopping. (So she go toilet to take off the lense, and gradually go shopping again....) And after the autography, Seng Wah looked unhappy. Because he didn't shake hand with him at the stage for autography, and said the signing autography session too short, and Bosco also didn't smile at him. ( So what i can say to him in my heard is ---- Eng Gai. Hahahahaha............) But he still get the chance to shake hand with him at the countdown event later.....Ok continue.., after that, we need to wait for a series of count evern, which is start about 11.00pm like that, so then, we hanging around again.( So totally, we spend 10 hours at Queensbay)
At 8pm like that, we eat at Pizza Hut. That place got much to improve compare to its other branches where i went before. The waiter does not treat us properly. We try to raise our hand and palce order. They just keep said:"One Moment please....". We totally wait for 20 minutes just to place our order, and next 24 minutes to have those orders! But i have to admit it, their pizza is more delicious than other branches i went before. So i give tham a credit for that... And suprisely, a Malay couple who sat behind me take a photo shot on Ling Pei! (They are wierd!) And i dunno why, and it has become our talking topic for next few hours.....
After our dinner,we go to the Border bookstore. Yup, not a cool fashion teenager way to spend the time. And then, we go to look for clothes at Jusco. Now Ling Pei eye contact lense make her eye unconfortable again. She must take it off now! After that, she sit on a chair try closing her eyes. (Her gesture look like crying, really......) And we guys just continue looking the clothes. ( Yeap, we are cold blooded, come bite us la. Hahahaha........)
But then, just the time we want to go out to the outside of the mall, where the event took place, it started raining! Well Seng Wah and Kwan Jou still insist to go for the event, (they even take away my only umbrella! Angry angry!) And me and Ling Pei back to the mall again. (Because i want find a nice place to sit...) After that, we find a place chatting. Hanging around again.
In order to avoid conjection of traffic when we back home after the countdown, we drive down the carpark at 11.45pm. I thought i will miss the countdown..... But when i am just about to put my paided car parking coupun to the car park machine, i saw fireworks, striking madly to the sky! Without second thought, i left my car running and straight take those videos of the fireworks! (Man they are beautiful!) Yes, the firework draw a crossline between year 2008 and year 2009. And here we are, i have came to year 2009!
As a transporter, my work havent done yet, i have to search for Kwan Jou and Seng Wah. (They are photographers, and witness of the event!) Well i thought i will have a hard time to find them. Because the phone line is all busy, and i cant reach them. But suprising, they turn up in front of my car! They also suprise my car turn up in front of them! (It is a miracle for it to happen!) And we all head back home. (Yup, no traffic jam, no accident, no people stomping on my car, no police want to take duit kopi from me.....) And especially Kwan Jou, he get a speacial and meaningful incident that worth him to treasure that moment for next few months. ( And i won't tell you why. Hahaha......)
